Steve Hernandez recently joined The Car Park as Vice President of Governmental & Institutional Services. At The Car Park, Steve will leverage his operational background to assist cities across the country to improve their program's policies and consumer parking experience.

Prior to The Car Park, Steve served as the Senior Vice President of Municipal Services for Reef Parking and as the Vice President of Parking, North America at Parkopedia. At Parkopedia, Steve worked closely with municipalities, parking operators and complementary technology partners to help facilitate a seamless parking experience within connected automobiles. 

Steve is a 20-year parking industry veteran, and has worked extensively with dozens of cities across the country to implement leading technologies and best practices. Steve has also served on the MSTPA Board since March 2016, and is an active International Parking & Mobility Institute member, having previously served on the IPMI Technology Committee, co-chaired the Conference Program Task Force and is an active member of the Mobility Task Force. Steve earned his CAPP in 2012 and in 2019 Steve was selected as a member of the National Parking Association’s 40 Under 40 award recipients.
