Reflecting on 25 Years of Excellence: The Midsouth Transportation and Parking Association (MSTPA)

As we stand on the threshold of 2024, it is a momentous occasion for the Midsouth Transportation and Parking Association (MSTPA) as we celebrate a quarter-century of shaping the future of transportation and parking in our region. Established in 1999, MSTPA has been a driving force in fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in the industry. MSTPA: The Beginning
The Association held their first conference in Huntsville in 2001. They had 20 attendees. The early founding members of the MSTPA consisted of Don Thornton (University of Kentucky), Mary Lynn Holloway (University of Tennessee), Ronnie Robertson (University of Alabama), Gary Graham (Louisiana State University), Bobby Allen (City of Huntsville), and David Gross and Cathy Duncan (City of Louisville).
Gorrie Regan was one of the primary sponsors for the first conference and are still active sponsors presently.
In talking to Ronnie Robertson, he stated that they could not have gotten the association off the ground without the support of the vendors. That theme still rings true today through the great support of our vendors each year.
MSTPA: A Legacy of Leadership
