André Davis is the Executive Director & CEO of the Birmingham Parking Authority (BPA). André began his appointment with the BPA in March 2022 after retiring from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he last served as the Director of Parking & Transportation. While at UAB, among many new programs, he was instrumental in leading the University’s first Comprehensive Master Plan Development, new zone-based student parking system, and the rollout of the Blazer Express campus bus shuttle system. André is a “customer-first” leader who understands that his role is to be a supporter of progress and not an inhibiter. He has been recognized as a leader who can take organizations that were once falling below expectations into becoming profitable and positive assets.
